Biography

Mara Lynaugh, M.Ed., joined the Educational and Community Supports (ECS) research unit in 2025. She is a member of the PBISApps training team, supporting schools implementing Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS), with a focus on using data to inform continuous improvement. Mara brings more than twenty-five years of experience in public education, beginning as a special education teacher and later serving as a systems coach, supporting K–12 schools in implementing MTSS systems and practices focused on meeting students’ social, emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs. Mara is passionate about helping educators, students, families, and community partners create learning environments where every student knows they belong and has the support to achieve their goals.
