Landon Veitch
Biography
Landon Veitch develops and implements security programs, enforces security policies, procedures, and programs to protect data, systems, people and digital assets. He manages risk, assesses and mitigates cyber and technology risks, develops plans to respond to security incidents and breaches and complies with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. Landon works to promote security awareness by educating employees on their roles in maintaining security and protecting sensitive information. As a member of the management team, he communicates the organization's security posture to senior management and other stakeholders and aligns the organization's security posture with its business objectives. Landon is currently the IT Security Manager (CISO) for Educational and Community Supports, a research unit at the University of Oregon's College of Education.
